In a lively corner of Porto, tucked away along a quieter street, this Mandarin restaurant draws those looking for a genuine taste of Chinese cuisine that goes beyond the usual. The menu is a thoughtful mix of spicy Sichuan noodles, hand-pulled beef soups, and small plates that invite sharing, alongside a handful of vegan and vegetarian options thoughtfully integrated for a broader palate.
The atmosphere takes on a playful neon glow that might remind you of a bustling arcade or a night spot in Asia, bringing a colorful vibrancy to the dining experience without overwhelming the senses. Though the décor is lively, the space remains cozy enough for solo diners as well as groups, and there’s a calmness that makes it easy to settle in whether you’re stopping by for a quick lunch or lingering over dinner. Outdoor seating provides a breezy alternative on warmer days.
This spot tends to attract a varied crowd: locals looking for authentic, comforting dishes; visitors eager to explore flavors beyond typical tourist fare; and those who appreciate a casual but distinctive setting. The kitchen’s skill with noodles and broths, from rich ramen to spicy DanDan, makes it a quiet favorite among noodle enthusiasts. Alongside the savory, dessert options like mochi with cheesecake or coconut almond ice cream offer a gentle finish to the meal.
Whether you’re out for a relaxed bite with a well-chosen beer or dipping into a selection of small plates paired with coffee, the place balances casual dining with attentive service. Given its setting and offerings, it works well for families, solo visitors, or groups, with accessibility and parking options that make it an easy choice for many around the Porto neighborhood.

5 I didn't expect this place to be one of my favorite restaurants in Porto but it was absolutely deserving! The food is so delicious - I had the Peking duck, my partner had the veg noodle soup and both were excellent. Shout out to the excellent scallion sauce on the table that elevated all dishes. Highly recommend this place for great Chinese food in Porto. Ambiance was great too!
4 YES! Good Chinese noodles in Porto! So glad to have this place around. A lot of neon lights, and colourful decor, that makes it almost seem like a video game, casino or nightclub in Asia. A bit tacky but fun. Lots of good strong Sichuan heat in the food! It was SO great to taste proper spices again. Noodles where also very tasty, and the proper texture. Broth for soup was deep and satisfying. It is geared towards the European palate, and I think your enjoyment will vary based on what Euro-style "Asian" food you are used to and which dishes you order, but for us, it was good enough to pass the test. Not entirely authentic, but pretty good, especially considering the city and country its in and our adjusted expectations. At least it was legit spicy. They really should take card though. It's wrong that they don't.
5 Amazing ramen! Rich, creamy broth, perfectly cooked noodles, crispy chicken, and jammy eggs done just right. The sides were super crunchy and delicious too. Loved the vibrant decor and neon vibes — such a cool atmosphere. Definitely coming back!
5 Truly spectacular ramen - one of best we’ve ever had! Service is quick and all the waitresses are incredibly friendly and helpful. The bib is a nice touch too. I would highly recommend, went there 3 times during our stay in Porto.
5 We visited a couple of times since we saw it was always open, asians come here to eat and price was amazing. Dont let the crazy neon light signs on the wall fool you. Everything was delicious. The pork gyozas were amazing. During one day we got the lunch menu, which has even better pricing than their regular menu and free noodle refill. Unbeatable. Staff are nice and fast.
5 I thought I already reviewed Kung Fu Niu Niu, but I definitely would recommend this restaurant! The staff are very wholesome, accomodating, and kind. They really listen to what you want and I really like that. They're very nice to speak too! I consistently order their spicy tofu ramen as it's sooo good. Their ginger and chili are amazing. Would recommend!!
5 I’ve been to pretty much every place in Porto that serves noodle soup or ramen but this one is my favorite. And here’s why: Check out the portion size, it’s huge! And the prices are super reasonable (even lower than elsewhere, which really surprised me). The broth is rich and flavorful (you can choose from several types). My favorite is the Peking Duck Noodle, look at those massive duck pieces! The staff is also super friendly. Whenever it rains I never stay home for lunch, I go out for something hot. Today I ordered the Peking Duck Noodle with black garlic again but they accidentally brought me a Spicy Chicken Noodle instead. I didn’t mind at all, I love trying new things, especially at places I already like. A few minutes later the staff realized the mistake and offered to replace it but I said it wasn’t necessary. Still, they brought me my original order for free and I got to take it home :) Customer obsession and delicious food at great prices, that’s what you’ll find here. Highly recommend! P.S. Thanks for the cute keychains!
4 I went here today and I really liked it! The food is very very tasty, the broath is very tasty as well as the noodles themselves. The staff is nice and helpful. The only thing I would recommend is the tofu and seafood are too oily, so maybe they should try and dry it a bit before putting them in the noodles. I had the tofu noodle soup and my boyfriend had the seafood one.
Many diners recommend the Peking duck, veg noodle soup, and the rich, creamy ramen. The pork gyozas and spicy Sichuan noodles are also favorites.

Dinner reservations are recommended, as it can get busy, especially in the evening, but lunch offers a more relaxed experience with good deals.
